"An Ominous Morning"

I shoot at sunrise a lot, and definitely prefer it to sunset. When I get somewhere and the day looks like it'll start out cloudy I'm usually disappointed, but I think the weather on this particular morning turned out better than if the sun decided to show up. It turned out to be a more dramatic scene than I originally thought I'd capture here. Rain bands were sweeping across the ocean on the left, right where the sun was trying to burn through (unsuccessfully). I was trying to capture the suds steaming across the rocks in the foreground on the left, so when I caught a few shots of it I figured I shouldn't push my luck with the water. The waves weren't too bad, but there was some mist and splashing so I didn't stay in this spot too long.
