Haven't been able to sleep well lately, which sucks. But in a strange way it aligns quite well with my desire for early morning photo trips. This past weekend was one such occasion. Rather than wander about the home in the dark, dreading the lack of sleep, I decided to take the camera with me and go for a drive. I went to a spot I've always wanted to explore but never had the time. It was more muddy and sloppy than I expected, which is exactly why I carry a set of boots with me in the car at all times. So glad I had them, otherwise I'd never have been at this spot when the sun came up. Two lessons learned: 1) Be prepared 2) Something about when life gives you lemons....
