The glow around these rocks was the result of being in the right place at the right time. The sun had just come up over the horizon so the angle of the direct sunlight was virtually parallel to the surface of the water. That kept the Bay with just a hint of deep color. As the small waves crashed upon the jetty, only the tips of the waves and the water mist that splashed up were illuminated brightly by the direct sun, the rest remained low enough to avoid direct light. It created a natural glow in long exposure...a hint of pink/orange light among and around the jetty. Within another minute the effect was gone.
